It is interesting to see just how different the remake will be compared to the first footage shown last September. However, the big question now is what Ubisoft is planning for the Prince of Persia franchise's future.
The studio revealed last December, seemingly as a result, that it is delaying the game's release from January 21st, 2021, to March 18th to further polish the game. Unfortunately, when Ubisoft unveiled the Sands of Time remake's first preview, fans immediately voiced their disappointment. Last year, Ubisoft announced that it is developing a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which was originally released back in 2003 and is widely regarded as the best entry in the franchise.
